Suzuki Motor Corporation has released the first official images of the upcoming Suzuki e-Burgman electric scooter. Along with that, Suzuki has also revealed a few details regarding its upcoming electric scooter.
That being said, the upcoming Suzuki e-Burgman electric scooter has been spotted testing a few times in India, and the model will now enter the advanced testing phase in Tokyo, Japan.
The testing will help Suzuki collect valuable information and insights through analysing a series of daily activities such as going to the office, school, and shopping. Furthermore, this collected data will help Suzuki refine the upcoming Suzuki e-Burgman electric scooter.
Diving into details, the upcoming Suzuki e-Burgman is classified as a Class-2 light electric scooter, and according to Suzuki, the e-Burgman electric scooter sports a single electric motor with 4kW of peak output, 0.98kW rated output, and 18Nm of peak torque.
Thanks to this setup, the Suzuki e-Burgman electric scooter can travel up to 44 kilometres on a fully charged battery pack while maintaining a steady speed of 60km/h – Which is decent for an electric scooter with a kerb weight of 147kg.
In addition to that, Suzuki has also revealed that the e-Burgman electric scooter measures 1,825mm long, 765mm wide, and 1,140mm tall. Apart from that, the seat height of the electric scooter stands at 780mm.
It is also worth mentioning that, Suzuki is part of the Battery Consortium for Electric Scooters. This Consortium is currently working on standardizing swappable battery packs and replacement systems for EVs and includes the likes of Honda, Kawasaki, and Yamaha.

Though the specifications of the Suzuki e-Burgman may not impress everyone, the battery-swapping technology in the electric scooter will be a viable solution if implemented on a large scale throughout the country.
