Suzuki has released updated vehicle pricing for South Africa, following “general price increases” from the manufacturer.
Price changes have been implemented across the board, according to price documents shared by the company.
The Suzuki Jimny is one of the models receiving a price hike, with the top-of-the-range 1.5 GLX AT model increasing from R356,900 to R365,900.
The other models in the Jimny line-up – the 1.5 GLX MT and 1.5 GA MT – have also seen their prices increased.
For fans of the brand’s sporty hatchback, Suzuki has increased the pricing of its two Swift Sport models, too.
The 1.4 Turbo MT and 1.4 Turbo AT are now selling for R336,900 and R356,900, respectively.
The price hikes come at a time when Suzuki is performing well in the local market, with the company selling over 2,000 vehicles in South Africa during October 2020.
“In October 2020, the company sold 2,032 vehicles in one month, officially breaking through the 2 000-unit barrier, setting a new overall sales record and firmly establishing itself as a top six vehicle brand in South Africa,” said Suzuki.
