Maruti Alto 800 LXI Opt S-CNG

The Maruti Alto is the least priced car in the company’s lineup. It is also a high-selling model that is among the most popular cars on sale in the country. In spite of being sufficiently frugal, it’s being even sold with an S-CNG variant available only in the LXI Opt trim. This car is priced at Rs 4.95 Lakh (Ex-showroom) and gets a 0.8-litre engine offering 40.36 bhp and 60 Nm. It has a certified mileage of 31.59 km/kg and features on offer include dual front airbags, ABS, front power windows, touchscreen infotainment, power steering and AC. The Maruti Alto S-CNG is the least expensive CNG car you can buy right now.

Maruti Wagon R LXI S-CNG

In its third generation now, the Maruti Wagon R is one of the most popular cars in the country. There are many reasons for its popularity, including high practicality, reliability, frugality, easy maintenance, enough space, and more. It even got a facelift recently and is available in a single CNG variant based on the LXI trim. Priced at Rs 6.34 lakh, the Wagon R S-CNG is powered by a 1.0-litre petrol engine that offers 55.92bhp and 82.1Nm. It offers a claimed mileage of 34.05 km/kg while the features on offer include power steering, touchscreen infotainment, electrically adjustable ORVMs, front foglamps, ABS, front airbags and alloy wheels.

Maruti Suzuki Swift Dzire

Like its donor hatchback, it’s powered by a 1.2-litre K-Series petrol engine that offers 90PS and 112 Nm. However, unlike the Swift, it’s also available in a S-CNG variant that is priced at Rs 8.14 lakh onward (ex-showroom). It’s available in VXI and ZXI trims and the latter even features like alloy wheels, and touchscreen infotainment unit. The engine offers 76hp and 98.5Nm.

Maruti Suzuki Eeco CNG

The Eeco is the successor of the Omni and completed 10 years in the market a couple of years ago. It’s a pretty rugged model that makes for a nice delivery van and even a low-cost intra-city people-carrier. The Eeco is available with two fuel options – petrol and CNG. The latter is priced at Rs 5.88 lakh and offers up to 20.88 km/kg. Its 1.2-litre engine outputs 61.68 bhp and 85 Nm.
