Allen, a TopAuto reader, recently traded in his Honda Ballade for a new Suzuki Vitara Brezza.
He tells us more about why he chose this small crossover and what it is like to own it.
Which model do you own?
I own a 2021 Suzuki Vitara Brezza 1.5 GL that has done a bit under 3,000km.
When did you get the car?
I got the car in June this year.
What are your three favourite things about the car?
I like the infotainment system, especially its phone connectivity features, which often comes in handy.
The power-folding side mirrors, park distance control, and the reverse camera are helpful, too, as it allows easy driving and good manoeuvrability through tight spaces.
I also like its height and size, as it allows for easy city driving while still having great height and clearance.
Which three things do you like least about the car?
The boot size could be bigger to provide for more practicality.
Another thing would be the turning circle – as it is not as good as I thought it would be.
The instrument cluster lights don’t automatically illuminate when it gets dark in the cabin, either, and the car lights must be turned on for the dash to light up.
What is it like to drive your car every day?
It is great.
It’s a very comfortable car, drives well, and it has sufficient power.
The connectivity capability of the infotainment system is incredible, as it allows me to easily play music through the car and put on maps if I need directions.
Why did you choose this car?
I was looking at getting a compact SUV and this one stood out above its competitors in this price range.
Suzuki is also a good brand with great resale value, which made it an easy choice.
Would you recommend your car to friends and family?
Yes, I definitely would.
