This is all you need to know about Suzuki’s latest and cheapest offering, the Suzuki S-Presso.

Two years after its debut in 2020, the S-Presso saw 14 400 units sold. As for total vehicles sold here in South Africa, Suzuki Auto managed to sell up to 45 000 units in 2022, breaking their 2021 record of 27 618 units.
The petite Suzuki offering has a bold design with prominent exterior features such as its chunky front and rear bumpers and distinct multi-reflector halogen headlamps and 14-inch alloy wheels. Standard interior features on this budget-friendly Suzuki include power steering, new electric mirrors, front electric windows, an engine auto stop-start system as well as audio and Bluetooth steering wheel controls.

Additional interior specs on the 1.0 GL + MT include a 7-inch touchscreen infotainment system that is compatible with Apple CarPlay and Android Auto. The top-of-the-range S-Edition models feature a 9-inch touchscreen infotainment system, a reverse camera and an S-Edition interior and exterior styling kit.
Safety features include ABS with EBD, Rear park distance control, Electronic Stability Programme, Hill-Hold Control for the AMT variants, Dual Airbags, Pretensioner and force-limiting seatbelts.

The updated Suzuki offers the firm’s tried and tested 1,0-litre, 3-cylinder engine that produces 49 kW and 89 N.m of torque is paired to a five-speed manual transmission or a four-speed automatic transmission. The Suzuki S-Presso has a claimed fuel consumption of 4,4l/100 km.
