2022 Range Rover Sport: What is it?
While the ‘big boy’ Range Rover and baby Evoque captures much of people’s attention, the Sport remains a strong sales success for the British marque. Blending a sportier character with the opulence of the flagship model, the Range Rover Sport arguably offers the best of both worlds. Fitted with the right tyres, it’s also impressive off-road.
2022 Range Rover Sport: What is it powered by?
At this moment in time, it’s difficult to say thanks to JLR adopting new platforms and announcing a partnership with BMW. A series of recently introduced 48-volt mild-hybrid petrol and diesel engines are likely to appear within the range, but it is also said that this new platform can support an EV. Watch this space.

2022 Range Rover Sport: When will it be on sale?
The prototype cars spotted here are still heavily disguised, but we’d expect to see a 2022 Range Rover Sport reveal at some point in 2022. This 4×4 should be on the road by 2023 at the latest.
2022 Range Rover Sport: How much will it cost
This is pure speculation at the moment, but using the existing car as a guide, the new Range Rover Sport will likely cost in the region of £68,000. A range-topping SVR performance model will likely surpass £100,000 with the high-performance model taking on the best of Germany.
