Car fires can be extremely dangerous and we have seen many of them happening in the past. This one though affected a high-end luxury SUV – the Land Rover Range Rover Evoque. The exact location of the accident remains unknown.
The Land Rover Range Rover Evoque suddenly caught fire in the middle of the road. According to the information, it was caused by a short circuit. However, the exact details remain unknown. The video taken by a pedestrian shows the fire coming out from the engine bay of the Evoque. Later, the fire grows and then engulfs the whole front-end of the vehicle.
While there are police and others on the road, no one tried to douse the car fire. Everyone maintained a safe distance from the vehicle. We are not sure if the fire fighters reached at the spot later but it seems like all the engine bay parts are fried in this fire.

Recently, mass-segment cars like Tata Harrier, Skoda Slavia and Mahindra XUV700 also caught fire. Multiple incidents of electric cars catching fire has also been recorded recently. Car fires are dangerous but one can be prepared for such incidents and keep small fire extinguishers in cars to ensure that small fires do not become big ones.
