At the forefront is the P300e plug-in electric hybrid, boasting a 1,5-litre 147 kW turbocharged three-cylinder Ingenium petrol engine and an 80 kW electric motor. This duo delivers a combined power output of 227 kW and 540 N.m of torque, offering an electric range of up to 61 km or an expected real-world range of up to 47 km.
With over 90% of daily journeys achievable in electric-only mode, the P300e provides both efficiency and versatility, with a total real-world range of up to 634 km and low CO2 emissions starting at 33 g/km. The 14,9 kWh battery supports rapid DC charging, providing an 80% charge in just 30 minutes at a 50 kW DC public charger.

Efficiency is further enhanced with three driving modes: HYBRID, EV and SAVE. These modes adapt to different driving conditions, optimizing power usage and efficiency. The P300e also features a Belt-integrated Starter Generator (BiSG) for enhanced regenerative braking and smoother start-stop operation.
Owners can stay connected with the InControl Remote App, allowing them to monitor the vehicle’s status, prepare it for a journey, and set charging timers for off-peak energy rates. Pre-conditioning the battery and cabin temperature before a trip maximizes range and passenger comfort.

For those seeking dynamic performance, the Discovery Sport offers the D200 diesel engine, which has a 2,0-litre four-cylinder powerplant that produces 147 kW of power and 430 N.m of torque. It is claimed to go from 0 to 100 km/h in 8,9 seconds and fuel consumption is set at 6,7 L/100 km. All powertrains come with a nine-speed automatic transmission and Intelligent All-Wheel Drive.
In terms of all-terrain capability, the Discovery Sport is equipped with Intelligent All-Wheel Drive, Terrain Progress Control, and Terrain Response 2. These systems ensure confidence and control in various driving conditions, whether on or off the road. Intelligent All-Wheel Drive optimizes traction on slippery surfaces, while All Terrain Progress Control and Hill Descent Control simplify challenging off-road situations. The Terrain Response 2 feature offers multiple driving modes for different terrains or an automatic mode for seamless adaptability.
