It's got the right badge and looks great, but the Evoque doesn't offer the most bang for your buck.
Besides having the fashionable design and high-end image of other Range Rovers, the smaller Evoque is compact enough to thread through narrow city streets easily, and the second-generation model has now undergone a facelift. Although its appearance isn’t dramatically different, the interior now benefits from a stylish 11.4-inch curved glass touch-sensitive display, and a new center console frees up additional storage space. Retaining a 246-horsepower four-cylinder engine, the Evoque lacks the grunt of similarly priced German rivals like the Mercedes-AMG GLA 35. But the Evoque’s curbside presence and posh styling are as appealing now as they were when it first arrived on the scene, and it has some useful off-road tech for those who dare to take it along a dirt road.

When Is The Land Rover Range Rover Evoque Coming Out?
The release date of the 2024 Land Rover Range Rover Evoque is in mid-2023, and it’s already available to configure on the Land Rover website. For this new model year, the Evoque is only coming out with one engine choice, as the previous 296-hp four-cylinder mill is no longer available.
2024 Land Rover Range Rover Evoque Price And Competition
Starting at almost $5,000 more than before, the 2024 Land Rover Range Rover Evoque carries quite a high price. It starts at an MSRP of $49,900 for the S, increasing to $54,900 for the Dynamic SE. A fully loaded Autobiography model is not available in this market, and last year's HST is no longer on sale here either. These prices in the USA don’t include the destination charge of $1,175.
Some of the Evoque’s rivals offer more power for less money, with the 302-hp Mercedes-AMG GLA 35 starting at $49,500. And, at exactly the same cost as the base Evoque, BMW has recently revealed the new X1 M35i that makes 312 hp.

New Land Rover Range Rover Evoque Exterior And Colors
It may not be the quickest or most powerful vehicle in its segment, but the Land Rover Ranger Rover Evoque has one of the nicest exterior designs. For the 2024 model year, it comes with a revised grille design and slimmer LED headlight clusters. The floating roof effect remains with the blacked-out pillars, and the flush-fitting door handles contribute to the clean look of the vehicle from the side.
There appears to be a slightly tweaked lighting signature for the taillights, but there are otherwise no visible changes from the back. It still looks sporty and elegant at the same time.
New colors for the Land Rover Range Rover Evoque's palette are Arroios Grey, Tribeca Blue, and Corinthian Bronze, while the contrast roof can be finished in Narvik Black and Corinthian Bronze. Other primary paint colors include Fuji White and Carpathian Grey.
The base model rides on rather conservative 18-inch alloy wheels, but fortunately, customers can choose from a total of eight wheel designs with five new finishes. These wheel sizes grow to as large as 21 inches. A sliding panoramic roof is standard on both trims.

Land Rover Range Rover Evoque Dimensions
At 172.1 inches in length, the Evoque is even shorter than the Mercedes-Benz GLA. It has a height of 64.9 inches, a width of 82.7 inches, including the mirrors, and a 105.5-inch wheelbase. With these compact dimensions, the Land Rover Range Rover Evoque is one of the brand's easiest vehicles to drive in more congested cities.
While not a hardcore off-roader, the Evoque does have 8.3 inches of ground clearance, along with approach/departure/ramp angles of 19.5/30.6/20.7 degrees, respectively. The manufacturer quotes a wading depth of 20.86 inches.
The curb weight for the Evoque comes in at 3,935 pounds.

Land Rover Range Rover Evoque Engine And Performance
The P250 powertrain is the only one available for the Evoque this year. Producing 246 hp and 269 lb-ft of torque, the 2.0-liter turbocharged four-cylinder engine in the Land Rover Range Rover Evoque provides reasonable, if not sparkling, acceleration.
With a standard all-wheel drive, the Evoque can complete the 0-60 mph sprint in exactly seven seconds on its way to a top speed of 143 mph. The Mercedes-AMG GLA 35 is almost two seconds quicker to 60 mph, so the Evoque is clearly nowhere near being the quickest SUV in its segment, and the more powerful P300e hybrid isn't currently offered in the USA. A nine-speed automatic transmission is common to both trims.
Although not many Evoques will be exposed to muddy terrain, the SUV is better equipped than its German rivals to handle some rough roads. It comes with the Terrain Response 2 system that automatically adjusts to conditions and also comes with hill descent control, low traction launch, and All Terrain Progress Control, the latter being a low-speed cruise control function that can be used on snow, ice, wet grass, and dirt roads.
The Evoque is rated to tow up to 3,968 lbs.
Gas Mileage
Official EPA ratings for the 2024 Evoque are 20/27/22 mpg city/highway/combined, so it’s not the most efficient vehicle of its kind. The more powerful Mercedes GLA 35 returns 25 mpg combined, as does the Audi Q3.
At just over 17 gallons, the gas tank of the Evoque should allow for a range of about 375 miles.

Land Rover Range Rover Evoque Interior And Cargo
More technology and improved practicality have been introduced in the interior of the new Land Rover Range Rover Evoque SUV. Land Rover's ability to create a serene and unfussy cockpit design without making it feel stark remains on full display here.
The Pivi Pro infotainment software is now displayed on a new 11.4-inch curved glass touchscreen, making it 1.4 inches larger than the previous interface. The screen itself is positioned higher up and closer to the driver, helping to free up more storage space as well as opening up a spot for the wireless phone charger. Appearing to float within the center console, the screen is complemented by new sidebars for the climate, seating, and volume settings. These are virtual buttons, but if they don't sound easy to use, Land Rover wants to put your mind at ease: the manufacturer says that about 80% of tasks can be done within just two taps of the home screen. Human testers were also used to lower interaction time with the system.
Both wireless Apple CarPlay and wireless Android Auto are supported by the new infotainment system, while an 11-speaker Meridian sound system with a dual-channel subwoofer is also standard. Wi-Fi capability, embedded eSIM technology, and Amazon Alexa complete the available connectivity features. Customers won't need to pay extra for heated front seats, an interactive driver's display, a heated steering wheel, dual-zone climate control, and an electrically adjustable steering wheel.

Being a luxury vehicle, Land Rover has taken some steps to improve comfort for occupants. For the first time, the Cabin Air Purification Plus system is available as part of the available Comfort Pack. This system comes with PM2.5 Filtration and CO2 Management to maintain the best possible quality of air in the cabin while also reducing the presence of odors, allergens, and bacteria.
New interior detailing includes Moonlight Chrome applied to the steering wheel, center console trim, and air vents. This is matched by upgraded trim finishes like Technical Light Anodized or Dark Anodized Aluminum. The seats in the standard Land Rover Range Rover Evoque are upholstered in grained leather. Interestingly, a leather-free alternative is available on certain Evoques in other markets.
The Land Rover Range Rover Evoque isn't a large vehicle, so its cargo space of 21.6 cubic feet behind the second row is only adequate. This figure increases to 50.5 cubes when the second row is folded.
