2022 Range Rover PHEV: what is it?
An all-new Range Rover is on the way and will bring with it a fresh platform to sit on. In addition to being able to support EV and mild-hybrid powertrains, there will also be a plug-in hybrid car. A car capable of delivering a limited pure EV range, with a combustion engine equipped for longer trips, will suit many owners.
2022 Range Rover PHEV: what is it powered by?
Being the flagship model, the new Range Rover could introduce a new PHEV configuration. Currently, the Range Rover Velar PHEV in P400e guise is powered by a four-cylinder engine and a 17.1kWh battery pack. There’s a good chance this will also feature in the full-fat Range Rover lineup.
2022 Range Rover PHEV: when will it be on sale?
We expect to see the all-new Range Rover revealed later this year with PHEV options likely available from launch. Cars should start hitting the roads in early 2022.

The opulent Range Rover doesn’t come cheap these days, and while there’s no official word on pricing, the PHEV option will likely be pushing the £95,000 mark. We anticipate mild-hybrid offerings to be slightly cheaper.
