Regarding exterior changes, the “new” Isuzu D-Max unveiled in Thailand features a power bulge atop its bonnet, a more pronounced front grille flanked by a revised LED headlamp array. Toward the rear, the D-Max features a three-level L-shaped LED taillight array.
Additionally, Isuzu claims it improved the aerodynamic capability of the D-Max by adding an air curtain on the sides of the front bumper and a petite spoiler affixed to the top of the tailgate. As for the interior, changes are intended to improve the appeal of the D-Max’s cabin. That said, the main revisions to the interior range from a new U-shaped element surrounding the infotainment screen, new dial switches on the infotainment screen, and a 7,0-inch driver display using a bespoke Graphical User Interface (GUI).

Regarding driving performance adjustments, the latest version of the V-Cross model features a new “rough terrain” mode, which aims to offer optimal braking and engine control when navigating through demanding terrain. Isuzu has introduced new safety features such as a camera that detects pedestrians crossing at an intersection, which will automatically trigger the brakes to engage if the situation is deemed dangerous for the driver or pedestrians. The same applies for reversing.
“Isuzu is actively taking efforts to realize a carbon-neutral society. Going forward, Isuzu plans to produce a BEV (Battery Electric Vehicle) pickup truck in Thailand. Isuzu will first introduce it in Europe and then examine its gradual roll out by meeting the needs of each market, including Thailand. Expectations of Thailand, Isuzu’s largest market for its pickup trucks, will remain steady in the years to come. To continue to contribute to the people of Thailand, I want us to create ‘Transport’ together and for Isuzu to remain a company that captures hearts and endures for eternity.” – Isuzu President and COO Shinsuke Minami
