South Africa has already received a ton of great cars this year, but there’s still plenty more to come before the end of 2023.
As many as 19 new vehicles were launched between January and March, and another 28 made landfall between April and June, meaning the tip of Africa has welcomed an impressive 47 new models in just six months.
This constant stream of new and updated models isn’t slowing down anytime soon, as there are at least 21 cars expected to debut by the year’s end.
This includes additional models to recently introduced units, like the Alfa Romeo Stelvio Quadrifoglio and the automatic Citroen C3, as well as brand-new entries like the electric GWM Ora and the JAC T9 – South Africa’s first hybrid bakkie.
There are also a number of autos that are confirmed to be coming to the country, but have not yet been given an official release date, like the Kia Picanto and the five-door Suzuki Jimny, meaning they could arrive either this year, or in early 2024.
