This electric hybrid Defender stands as a testament to Land Rover’s commitment to innovation and sustainability, boasting an advanced electrified plug-in electric hybrid powertrain but for rugby fans awaiting the famed tournament, none of that matters.
Not only does the Rugby World Cup 2023 Trophy Car exude a striking presence, but it also carries the distinguished Webb Ellis Cup with utmost safety and security. The specially designed trophy cabinet, ingeniously incorporated into the rear of the vehicle, ensures optimal conditions for the iconic trophy, all while preserving the unmistakable silhouette of the Defender.
A subtle yet prominent display of the Rugby World Cup France 2023 and Land Rover’s partnership livery adorns the bonnet and doors, adding a touch of sporting spirit to its exterior.

The journey of this bespoke creation will continue on the 9th of June in France, as the Trophy Tour kicks off at the Top 14 Semi Finals in the picturesque town of Biarritz. Here, amidst an atmosphere brimming with excitement, the Rugby World Cup 2023 Trophy Car will take centre stage, captivating invited guests as part of Defender’s exclusive hospitality guest program. From there, the model and the revered Webb Ellis Cup will embark on a grand tour, gracing subsequent rugby events and Defender Retailers across the host nation.

The Rugby World Cup Trophy Tour in France and the UK began in May and will conclude on 14 August ahead of the Rugby World Cup France 2023 opening match on 8 September at Stade de France in Paris.
