The BAIC B40 Plus is a nice value proposition if you want a lifestyle SUV. Does it have a sunroof though?
The BAIC B40 Plus is a lifestyle SUV that has some heritage in the BAIC family which has its roots in the military, rather than being an experiment. My colleague Lawrence Minnie had the vehicle on test and you can read his thoughts here.
While the exterior of the B40 Plus may be rugged, the interior softens things a bit with an air of luxury and most importantly, comfort. Items like a dark soft-touch dashboard lined with stitching are evidence of this. There’s patterned satin trim breaking apart the soft-touch material nestling the passenger grab handle and centre stack. Interestingly, the offroad controls are in between the centre stack air vents. Comfort is aplenty with well-padded seats and convenience features to make the B40 Plus a comfortable offroader and city runner. Does it have a sunroof though?
Great! Does the BAIC B40 Plus have a sunroof though?
Yes and no. The BAIC B40 Plus doesn’t have a traditional sunroof per se. It does one better, and the whole roof comes off like the Jeep Gladiator. The BAIC B40 Plus has a removable hardtop that lets the sunshine in for the front and rear passengers as well as the boot area. You’ll see there are still structural bits in place to keep the vehicle sturdy and keep yourself safe, great for those off-road adventures. If you’re sold on a BAIC B40 Plus after reading this, you can search AutoTrader for the latest used and new offerings.
