On the 27th of February, the Alfa Romeo Formula 1 team will officially reveal their C42 in livery for the 2022 season but the challenger has been spotted wearing pretty camouflage during a shakedown at the Fiorano circuit.

The winter tests at the Circuit de Barcelona-Catalunya from the 23rd to the 25th of February mean that we will be able to spend some more time with the livery before their official reveal but early reports on the 2022 spec challenger seem positive after a massive leap in performance has been reported from the Ferrari power unit. This is positive affirmation for the team that hopes to take a stride forward on the Formula 1 grid after consistently finding themselves at the back.
Lewis Hamilton’s former teammate Valteri Bottas who joined the Italian team for the 2022 campaign spent the morning racking up a maximum of 100 kilometres during the shakedown. While the camo livery is only really adorned on the car to conceal some of its technical aspects from other teams, we are likely to see a similar Orlen inspired red and white livery from the season before.
