After postponing its intended introduction a few days ago and delaying it until next spring, the Maserati Grecale is one of the most anticipated cars for 2022. The Modena business has progressed its most important aspects, but the inside remains hidden. So far, one of the press tests has resulted in it being disclosed in a leak.

The new Grecale features a new configuration that is not available in any of the current models and stands out for its sophisticated and elegant style, with the digital instrument cluster hidden behind a multifunction sports steering wheel with touch controls and two satellite buttons for accessing driving modes and other functions, among other things.
In addition, the center console features a big double touch screen, with the upper section used for entertainment, multimedia, and navigation and the lower part used for climate control and seat adjustments.
The ventilation nozzles have now been incorporated into the upper border of the dashboard, giving it a more modern feel, as well as an analog sphere in the center with a compass. In the authentic timepiece look found on Porsche cars with the Sport Chrono package.
The new Grecale will hit the European market in the second half of 2022, with three mechanical petrol versions: a 2.0-liter four-cylinder Hybrid and a 3.0-liter twin-turbo “Nettuno” V-six with two power levels – both in the range of 350 to 500 HP for the Trophy – and an 8-speed automatic transmission and all-wheel drive.

On November 16, 2021, the new Maserati Grecale was supposed to have its international debut. However, because to current delivery delays for critical components in vehicle assembly, the Grecale launch has been postponed until summer 2022. The semiconductor scarcity is specifically mentioned by Maserati as an issue. The Maserati SUV Grecale is built on the Giorgio platform, which is also utilized by Alfa Romeo’s sibling, the Stelvio. As a result, the Maserati’s proportions should be based on the Alfa SUV. It has a length of 4,687 millimeters, a wheelbase of 2,818 millimeters, and a maximum height of 1,693 millimeters. The length is 2,163 millimeters and the breadth is 2,163 millimeters. A dramatically sloping engine hood with smaller beading can be observed in the initial teaser and Erlkönig images. The windscreen is slanted, and the roof slopes backwards softly before ending in a little roof spoiler. The photos are indicated by prominently displayed wheelhouses. The Maserati Grecale, of course, features the brand’s well-known big grille and a logo affixed in the center. The Maserati SUV is equipped with Fiat Chrysler engines. The top engine is the Stelvio Quadrifoglio’s 510-hp 2.9-liter V6 biturbo. It’s also possible to imagine a two-liter turbo gasoline engine with 200 or 280 horsepower. A 2.2-liter diesel engine with output levels of 190 and 210 horsepower is available on the diesel side. Maserati is expected to tweak the aggregates a little in terms of performance. Regardless, power is sent to all four wheels through an eight-speed automatic transmission. The jeep’s plug-in system The Maserati Grecale will be offered with both conventional and plug-in hybrid engines. This drivetrain is also from FCA, and it made its debut in the Jeep Wrangler 4xe lately. The hybrid system, which includes a two-liter gasoline engine and a 73 kW electric motor, produces 375 horsepower. At the FCA facility in Cassion, Italy, the Maserati Grecale and the Stelvio roll off the manufacturing line together. As rivals, the BMW X3, Audi Q5 or Jaguar F-Pace, and Porsche Macan are already available.
