Pioneering this groundbreaking initiative is football legend, style visionary and global brand ambassador; David Beckham. As a long-standing aficionado of Maserati classics, Beckham has woven his personal style into the fabric of these unique automotive creations, a move that’s set to stir the imagination of car lovers and inspire them to realize their unique interpretation of the quintessential Italian sports car.
Drawing from his fondness for Savile Row attire, Beckham has incorporated elements of his sartorial sense into the design of his Fuoriserie DB Essentials collection. Featuring two uniquely styled configurations, this collection embodies Beckham’s modern take on some of the Trident’s most enduring models.

The first configuration celebrates the chic Maserati Ghibli coupé from 1967, reborn in an alluring ‘Night Interaction’ blue exterior paired with a classic tan interior. Beckham’s second configuration pays homage to the rare 1986 Maserati Quattroporte Royale, of which only 51 units were produced. This masterpiece comes in a dignified ‘Verde Royale’ exterior shade, complemented by warm brown leather upholstery. Both cars carry a commemorative metal plate to mark the collaboration between Maserati and Beckham.
Klaus Busse, Head of Design at Maserati, explaining the essence of ‘Fuoriserie’ – or ‘custom-built’ in Italian – shares how this customisation program aspires to generate unique experiences for clients, offering them the liberty to articulate their personality and passion by crafting their very own Maserati.
“Our Trident’s customization program is conceived to create singular experiences for our clients. Our wish here is for them to express their personality and passion by creating their very own Maserati. Just like David, everyone can choose from a wide range of personalisation features from our Fuoriserie Corse collection, inspired by Maserati’s glorious racing heritage, and from our Fuoriserie Futura collection, dedicated to lovers of technology and new materials,” says Busse.
Beckham’s Fuoriserie DB Essentials configurations are now available for customisation on the MC20 super sports car and the versatile SUV Grecale, bridging the gap between performance, luxury, and sportiness.
