GranTurismo will be first all-electric, followed by everything else in 2030.

- Maserati’s new GranTurismo will “adopt 100% electric solutions,” will be made at the Mirafiori production hub, and will come to market in 2023.
- All-new Grecale SUV—launching in coming days with a combustion engine—will be available as an EV in 2023, after the GranTurismo coupe.
- Electric versions of the MC20, Quattroporte and Levante arrive by 2025. By 2030, the entire Maserati range will be all-electric.
After teasing its electric future for several years now, Maserati got more specific than ever during its earnings report this morning. And just because the Trident will soon have two SUVs, don’t expect the sports cars to go away.
“Maserati is carving out the path that will make it the first luxury brand to launch a 100% electric sports car,” the company said in a release ahead of the official statement. “Maserati will set the benchmark in every market segment and will be the first luxury brand to complete its electric lineup by 2025.”
The new GranTurismo will be the first car to “adopt 100% electric solutions,” the company said. The car will be made at the Mirafiori production hub and will come to market in 2023.
“The new GranTurismo, a true icon for the brand, will offer cutting-edge technical solutions derived from Formula E, superb performance, comfort, and elegance, all typical of the Trident,” Maserati promised.
The all-new Grecale SUV—scheduled for launch in the next few days with a combustion engine—will also become available in an electric version in 2023, after the GranTurismo coupe.
That will be followed by the GranCabrio, also in 2023, and electric versions of the MC20, Quattroporte and Levante by 2025. The Quattroporte and Levante will both be “all new,” Maserati said.
“All Maserati models will come in a 100% electric version by 2025: the MC20 super sports car, the new Quattroporte sport sedan, and the all-new full-size Levante SUV will complete the Maserati Folgore offering, to attract the new luxury consumer in all market segments. By 2030, the entire Maserati range will be full electric.”
The Maserati plan is part of the Stellantis “Dare Forward 2030” strategic plan announced March 1, the company said.
“All the brand’s new models will be developed, engineered and produced 100% in Italy, and will be adopting electric powertrains, to bring great innovation and high performance, both typical of Maserati’s DNA.”
