Revived US car-maker says famous gullwing coupe to return this year with zero-emission powertrain
The DeLorean Motor Company has released a new teaser confirming that it will launch an updated pure-electric version sports car inspired by the original DMC.
Named the DeLorean EVolved, it’s not been known whether or not the battery-electric DMC will be a reengineered version of an original DMC coupe that was made from 1981-1982 or if it will be all-new from the ground up.
If it’s the former, the EVolved could be based on one of the 300 continuation models the DeLorean Motor Company said it would begin building back in 2019.
