From the brand that brought you the Getz and the Grandeur comes this, the Hyundai N Vision 74 performance hydrogen fuel-cell sports coupe – a concept car with more than 500kW and 900Nm, according to the company.
The N Vision 74 “rolling lab” draws its name from the launch back in 1974 of the wedge-shaped Pony Coupe Concept, penned by when Giorgetto Giugiaro. And in 2022, the brand has revived that concept with a new way of thinking about performance.
Note the way the shape of the car mimics the original concept coupe, right down to the bold, thick B-pillar design, yet manages to look extreme with those Group B Rally-inspired aero wheels, a monster body kit, huge rear wing, and Hyundai’s trademark pixelated lighting signature.
As such, the N Vision 74 coupe employs a hydrogen fuel-cell powertrain, with a 4.2kg hydrogen tank, a 95kW (max) fuel-cell stack, and the brand’s 800-volt fast charge capability with a 62.4kWh battery pack.
All that equates to a total power output of more than 500kW and 900Nm sent to the rear wheels via twin electric motors, with a claimed top speed of 250km/h, and a driving range of more than 600km, says Hyundai.
Pull up to a hydrogen pump and you’ll be able to refill this 4952mm long, 1995mm wide and 1331mm tall two-door coupe in just five minutes, Hyundai says.

It’s all a bit pie in the sky, with a production version of this car unlikely to make it to a Hyundai showroom anytime soon.
