Lexus has lobbed a pair of Crafted limited-edition variants of its RX large SUV ushering in extra features and an upgrade to the Lexus Encore Platinum rewards program.
The five-seat 2.0-litre turbocharged two-wheel drive RX300 and 3.5-litre V6 petrol all-wheel drive RX350 Crafted are based on the RX Luxury grade, but add a darkened grille, bumper and mirror caps and unique 20-inch alloy wheels.
Inside the Crafted features heated and ventilated front seats, and driver’s seat memory function.
Pricing for the RX300 Crafted is $77,075 before on-road costs, which is $4062 more than the regular RX300, while the RX350 Crafted is $86,485 – representing a $3472 premium.
Lexus Encore includes three years of capped-price servicing, service loan cars, an Ampol fuel offer, free access to rewards and special events.
Encore Platinum – usually reserved for the flagship LX, LC and more – adds Lexus On Demand which allows owners to borrow another Lexus model up to four times, and for up to eight days at a time.
It also includes valet parking at Westfield shopping centres and selected Australian and New Zealand airports.
The Crafted variants are offered in 10 colours, and come with the Lexus Safety Sense+ active safety suite.
