Swedish carmaker Volvo has increased prices across its model lineup for 2023, and the only sedan it sells in Australia – the midsize S60 – has become more costly.
The sole S60 Ultimate B5 Bright variant is up $3500 on the outgoing and now discontinued S60 B5 Inscription that cost $62,490 before on-road costs.
Volvo has enacted price increases across their range, including the V60 Cross Country, XC60 SUV and XC90 large SUV.
The Volvo S60 is available in only one variant here in Australia
The new Ultimate B5 Bright S60 is now available to buy through Volvo’s website or through their dealership network.

Options and extras for the Volvo S60
The only options available for the single-spec Volvo S60 are to do with the car’s sound system.
Owners can specify a Harmon Kardon premium sound system for $1329 plus on-road fees or a higher-spec Bowers and Wilkins sound system for an additional $2937 plus on-road fees.

The 2023 Volvo S60 comes with dual front, curtain and side airbags as standard.
Options include two different sound systems
The sedan was tested by ANCAP back in 2019 and received a five-star rating, however it has not been retested since.
