Mahindra could introduce more automatic and AWD variants, while some petrol and diesel variants might get axed,
We already know that the Mahindra has lined up a 6-seater version of the XUV700. If the latest rumours are true, it could be a part of a massive variant rejig.
Rumours suggest that Mahindra is getting ready to launch 5 new variants of the XUV700, out of which, at least 4 could be introduced by this festive season. These include one mid-range and three high-end trims.
It is said that Mahindra could introduce a new AX5 L variant that could slot between the AX7 and AX7 L variants. The remaining three variants are said to be positioned above the AX7 variant. These could include an AX7 (with a new suffix), AX9 and AX9 L. While some petrol and diesel variants might get axed, the carmaker could introduce more automatic and AWD variants.
Now in addition to new variants, Mahindra might also make a few changes to the features list. A powered tailgate, ventilated front and rear seats, powered IRVM, a sliding 2nd row, updated connected apps and a rear LED strip could be on offer as part of the mid-life refresh.
