Touted as one of the most affordable and safest 7 seater vehicles in the nation, the Renault Triber receives an all-new limited edition variant to commemorate the milestone of reaching a gargantuan 1 lakh sales of the model in India. The French automotive group Renault’s Indian subsidiary has launched the Limited Edition (LE) of the Triber based on the RXT variant at a starting price of Rs. 7.24 lakh (ex-showroom, Delhi). The company also announced that the Triber RXT Limited Edition will be available in both manual and AMT variants in the country.
The all-new Limited Edition Triber will get two new dual-tone exterior colour options which will be Moonlight Silver and Cedar Brown with a blacked-out roof and along with it, the Triber LE will get a set of new 14 Inch Stylish Flex Wheels. Coming on to the interior of the Limited Edition model, it will get upgrades like the Akaza fabric upholstery along with the dual-tone dashboard and piano black finish. Additionally, the model will also be offered with a fully digital white LED instrument cluster, HVAC knobs with chrome ring garnishes, black inner door handles, steering mounted controls, a six-way adjustable driver seat, and a reverse parking camera with guidelines. While on the safety front, the new LE model will get four airbags – front and Side for both driver & passenger along with the front driver side load limiter & pre-tensioner.
Apart from these the Triber LE will continue to have the features like the smart access card, push-button to start/stop, touchscreen infotainment system, projector headlamps, power windows, electrical adjustment for outside rearview mirrors, twin glove box with the upper one having a cooling function, 12V socket for all the three rows, a rearview camera and much more that come in the top-end variant of the model. It will also get the same safety features like ABS with EBD, dual airbags, speed alert warning, rear parking sensors and seat belt warnings. Additionally, the Triber Limited Edition will be powered by the same three-cylinder, naturally aspirated petrol engine that produces 72 PS of max power and a peak torque output of 96 Nm. Last year the Triber also managed to score a 4-star safety rating in the global NCAP crash tests.
Earlier this month, Renault India also celebrated the company’s milestone of reaching 8,00,000 customers in India.
