Renault could bring the Arkana to India via the CBU route.
Renault India had shared a teaser image of the Arkana in November last year. It is now being reported that the carmaker is in fact evaluating the coupe-SUV for the Indian market.
The Renault Arkana is based on the CMF-B platform, which will also underpin the third generation Duster for the European markets. The SUV features a 4-door coupe body style with a front fascia similar to the Captur. It is equipped with LED headlights with large C-shaped LED daytime running lights.
At the rear, the Arkana gets slim tail lamp clusters with a light bar and twin chrome-tipped exhausts. On the inside, the SUV gets a vertically-oriented touchscreen infotainment system in the centre and a digital instrument cluster.
The Arkana comes with two engine options, including a 1.3-litre turbo-petrol mild-hybrid producing 136 BHP and a 1.6-litre petrol featuring Renault’s self-charging E-Tech system and a clutch-less dogbox transmission.
Reports suggest Renault could bring the Arkana to India via the CBU route.
