Renault is still planning for the future. The Rombo company is getting ready to release new models with sportier and more sophisticated looks. The Renault Captur Coupé 2024 is one among several it has in its range. In the middle of the decade, the Frenchwoman plans to kill two birds with one stone by giving the B-SUV a unique look and replacing the Arkana.
Renault’s product portfolio must be radically reorganized, according to Luca de Meo. In the future months, the French label’s range will be decreased, but in exchange, it will debut new styles in the coming years.
The French company will not only provide models with the best-selling typology, but will also follow in the footsteps of other manufacturers by merging models, despite the fact that this is not the focus of the Renault Captur and the most current Arkana relays.
Renault does not want to lose either of these cars, but it also does not want to maintain both, so they have struck a balance: there will be a new Captur, as well as an entirely new model that will replace the Arkana.
This future model, codenamed “DJB” internally, will be released at the same time as the Renault Captur Coupé 2024 and will have a sportier and more ornate design, as shown in this unique reconstruction. Those of the Rombo will print the new aesthetic aspects, but with particular details such as door knobs inserted in the panels, they will provide an added cache.

The French hope to close the gap between the Captur and the new Renault Austral by emulating the Germans’ aesthetic and the well-known Volkswagen T-Roc, which has become a great hit and has just been upgraded.
Renault’s plan is to build it on the CMF B/C platform, which is used by the current Mégane and superiors, rather than the A/B platform used by the current Captur and which will also be used by the third generation. This is a really intriguing concept, but it will not be as inexpensive as some may expect.
One other differentiation from the more typical Captur is the option of having all-wheel drive. To speak of a mechanical plant is, at the very least, premature; nevertheless, we do know that there will be no diesel and that electricity will be the norm.
The new 1.2-liter turbocharged four-cylinder petrol engine will serve as the genuine cornerstone of a range that will gradually electrify and hybridize. The most basic petrol models will have 48-volt MHEV technology, while the range will also include a “E-Tech” hybrid and a top-of-the-line “E-Tech Plug-in Hybrid” plug-in hybrid, all with a CVT-type automatic transmission.
Renault is rethinking the lines of its range in 2022 with the Mégane E-Tech, a 100 percent electric crossover that sits between the B and C categories, while the Renault Austral SUV aims to reclaim consumers who were disillusioned by the Kadjar. In 2023, Diamond will introduce the new Scénic (HCB), the Mégane’s larger sibling, as well as the Austral’s 7-seater variant (RHN). Since the future Peugeot 3008 will be a coupe by the end of 2023, the diamond company will not be the only one. There will be something new under the hood with Austral’s new 1.2 TCe 48V, as well as hybrid and plug-in hybrids 1.6 E-Tech.
Renault is investigating the feasibility of a 100 percent electric version based on the Mégane E-136 Tech’s and 218 horsepower engines.
