Australian pricing is now available for the 2022 Range Rover SV – an ultra-luxe set of models that sits at the pinnacle of the new L460-gen Range Rover.
Available in short and long wheelbase versions, the Range Rover SV SWB will set well-heeled customers back $341,300 before on-road costs for the mild-hybrid six-cylinder turbo-diesel D350 variant.
To get a twin-turbo petrol V8 model in SV specification, customers will need to pay $347,900 before on-road costs for the SWB P530 SV while the long wheelbase commands a substantial $43,900 premium at $391,800.
The Range Rover SV can come with a two-tone paint job
The Special Vehicle Operations SV is highly configurable, with 1.6 million possible options available to configure the car exactly how you want it.
The ‘entry’ level D350 SV is powered by a 258kW/700Nm 3.0-litre turbo-diesel straight six engine that is mated to an eight-speed automatic transmission.
Two higher spec ‘P530’ variants in Australia are powered by a twin-turbo 4.4-litre V8 engine that produces 390kW of power and 750Nm of torque.
Inside, the SV is a luxurious place to be with a mix of leather and wood finishes
Ceramic, wood and leather materials inside
Special materials have been used within the new Range Rover SV interior including cool-to-the-touch ceramics and wood work.
Ceramics can be found on the gear shifter, terrain response and volume controls. To make these pieces can take up to 10 weeks.
Wood is featured on the centre console for the front and rear seats along with other veneers throughout the cabin.

Soft-touch leathers are standard trim on the SV and have a natural finish that has the overall durability of furniture-grade leather.
For those who want a more sustainable trim option, a polyurethane material is available that has the same tactile quality of leather but is 30 percent lighter and generates only a quarter of the C02 in production.
Other specifications include metal driving pedals, four-zone climate control, 24-way heated, cooled and massage front seats, a 13.1-inch central touchscreen, head-up display, wireless Apple CarPlay and wireless Android Auto, wireless phone charging and a Meridian sound system.
Special polyurethane seats are an option for those who don’t want leather
On the exterior, optional 23-inch wheels are available along with 13 different wheel types also able to be specced on this SV model. 22-inch wheels are standard fitment.
Seven pre-selected design themes can be picked from if the whole task of building an SV from scratch is a daunting one. These specific themes group together interior and exterior colours by matching colours that work well together. The Serenity pack is one option which combines an Atlas Silver exterior paint job with Corinthian bronze accents on the roof and wheels.
On the inside, two tone front-to-rear colour options are also available for the seating trim and other elements.
