The Scorpio could be offered with a 2.0-litre diesel engine producing 158 BHP.
The first undisguised image of the next-generation Mahindra Scorpio has surfaced online. The image of the 2022 Scorpio appears to have been taken during a TVC shoot.
The image partially reveals the front end of the new Scorpio. As expected, the SUV has a muscular front fascia featuring a slatted grille. The front bumper has fog lamp pods with chrome trim on either side and a silver skid plate. The SUV is also equipped with stylish-looking diamond-cut alloy wheels.
The new Scorpio (codenamed: Z101) is expected to be based on a ladder-frame chassis. It could be offered with a 2.0-litre diesel engine producing 158 BHP, paired with either a 6-speed manual or an automatic transmission.
Mahindra is expected to offer all-wheel drive on select variants of the Scorpio. It will even get off-road drive modes that can be selected using a rotary dial positioned on the centre console.
