Mahindra chose Republic Day to reveal some interesting stats on the production of its popular XUV700
Mahindra has officially announced that it has received more than 1 lakh bookings on the XUV700 and has delivered 14,000 units amidst the supply chain issues. Once the supply chain is sorted, we can see the rate of deliveries rising by multiple folds.

Mahindra and Mahindra say that the company has successfully delivered the 14,000 units of the XUV700 in the Indian market by January 2022. This is a significant milestone because just like other manufacturers, Mahindra is to facing global supply chain issues. Amidst the rising popularity of the SUV, Mahindra says that the delivery dates are fixed by using algorithms.

“Mahindra & Mahindra Ltd has met its commitment of billing the first 14,000 XUV700s by January 2022. The SUV has clocked almost 1,00,000 bookings since its commencement on October 7,”

Mahindra started accepting the bookings for the all-new XUV700 on October 7, 2021. The car was sold out in just 57 minutes after the initial lot of 25,000 units were booked. On the very next day on 8th October, Mahindra received another 25,000 bookings in two hours, taking the total bookings to 50,000 units.

Later by Diwali, Mahindra announced that the company has received bookings for 75,000 units. Mahindra says that this is the quickest model to reach 1 lakh booking units.

The Mahindra XUV700 has replaced the XUV500 from the line-up.
The new car is broadly divided into AX and MX trims. There are as many as 19 variants spread across the trim levels. With such a wide range of trims, Mahindra targets all the customer needs. All the variants are loaded with features including the base variant.

The XUV700’s base version offers a dual-tone dashboard, steering-mounted controls, tilt-adjustable steering wheel, semi-digital instrument cluster with a 7.0-inch display and an 8.0-inch touchscreen infotainment system as well.
And feature-loaded cabin, many choose the XUV700 over others
The higher-end variants offer features like an electronic parking brake, electronically controlled six-way adjustable driver seat with memory function, reverse camera, leatherette upholstery, automatic climate control, ADAS Level-2 autonomous driving features and the list goes on.
Mahindra powers the XUV700 with two engine options – 2.0-litre mStallion petrol and 2.2-litre mHawk diesel. Both the engines are the most powerful in the segment and offer both manual and automatic transmission options.
