MG will offer Hinglish Voice Assistant-enabled features powered by Jio’s Digital Assets in the Comet EV.
MG Motor India has announced its partnership with Jio Platforms to offer a broad range of connected car features in its cars.
As part of the deal, MG will offer Hinglish Voice Assistant-enabled features powered by Jio’s Digital Assets in the Comet EV. It will enable users to interact with the infotainment system with a combination of English and Hindi phrases.
The Hello Jio Voice Assistant is said to be trained to understand native Indian speakers with different regional dialects and tones. It will also enable users to check the weather, cricket scores, news and horoscope. Using the ‘Hello Jio’ feature, users can turn the AC on or off and play songs.
The MG Comet EV features a 10.25-inch touchscreen infotainment system that comes integrated with a Jio e-SIM. The car is powered by a 17.3 kWh battery pack that is said to offer a range of 230 km on a single charge.
