My experience with ADAS
Happy to share that I got my black beauty last Sunday, AX7 L D AT. The experience has been exceptional so far, especially since this was a major upgrade for me. I was driving an Alto for the last 15 years.
Wanted to share some first-hand experience with ADAS for owners awaiting delivery. Existing owners please feel free to share your experience.
Where I find ADAS helpful:
ADAS is very helpful on highways. The experience is next level as you only observe keenly while the vehicle does the rest. Combined with lane keep assist for roads with clear lane markings, expect the vehicle to do the bulk of the driving. For mileage conscious users, I want to share that I got the highest mileage, upwards of 18km/l when driving with ADAS set at speed of 80 km/h.
Where I don’t find ADAS useful:
One of my biggest reasons for getting a Luxury pack was Stop and Go function where ADAS is able to completely stop the vehicle and start again. I imagined this feature to be very useful for bumper to bumper traffic. However, in my limited experience, I found this feature to be totally useless as there is a significant driver involvement during bumper to bumper traffic. There are so many vehicles cutting in especially bikes, you just can’t rely on ADAS.
Though there is a polarised view related to looks I am sharing a picture of my beauty standing next to Innova Crysta.
