It seems like every day now that we are getting to see some of the extremely talented artists of our country creating amazing renderings of highly popular vehicles. Recently another video rendering of a Scorpio-N was shared on YouTube and this time it has been reimagined as an off-roader.
The video uploaded by BOZZ Concepts on their YouTube channel presents the all-new Mahindra Scorpio-N as an extremely rugged stealth off-roader. The creator went deep into every detail of the rendering and created a high-quality video walkaround of it. From the video, we can infer that the off-road iteration of the Scorpio-N is finished in Napoli black.
Starting from the front of the vehicle, the designer has not made a whole lot of changes to the fascia of the SUV. The familiar face of the SUV remains intact, just with the addition of blacked-out garnishes. The grille slots, upper and lower grille, all have been dechromed. The LED-Halogen headlamp unit also is the same as the standard SUV, however, the LED DRLs have been tweaked.
Moving further we can note the addition of a roof rack finished in black to add to the stealth look of the SUV. The roof rack is also accompanied with some aggressive looking Baja LED pod light bar. The video then pans out to show us a set of beefy all-terrain tyres wrapped around what appear to be bead lock alloy wheels. The wheels and the tyres sit under some rugged looking fender flares around all-four corners. We can also note some blacked out chunky foot steps.
In the rear, not much has been tweaked and we can see that it looks pretty much identical to the real life SUV. Overall the SUV in the rendering gets a lifted stance and also appears to have a wider track because of the bigger tyres and rims combination.
The Scorpio-N is Mahindra’s newest SUV, and it is one of the most talked-about SUVs on the market right now. The Scorpio-N is available with two engines: a 2.2 litre mHawk turbo diesel with 130 Bhp-300 Nm, 172 Bhp-370 Nm, and 172 Bhp-450 Nm levels of tune, and a 2 litre mFalcon petrol with 197 Bhp-370/380 Nm stages of tune. Both engines are available with six-speed manual or torque converter automatic transmissions. Only the top-tier diesel model, however, has a four-wheel drive transfer case as an option. The other trims, including the petrol trims, are all rear wheel drive.
In terms of equipment, Mahindra has packed the SUV full of both safety and luxury features. The Scorpio-N comes equipped with multiple driving modes, front, side, and curtain airbags, downhill assist, a reverse camera, a powered driver’s seat, an 8-inch touchscreen infotainment system, connected car technology, a push start-stop button, dual-zone automatic climate control.
Additionally, it also comes with a front camera, an SOS switch, drowsiness detection for the driver, the option of captain seats in the middle row, a 7-inch TFT MID in the instrument console, a single-pane sunroof and a 12-speaker Sony 3D surround sound system and a lot more. The Mahindra Scorpio-N’s ex-showroom costs ranges from Rs. 11.99 lakh for the entry-level petrol Z2 trim to Rs. 23.9 lakh for the top-tier Z8 diesel model.
