Mahindra has released yet another teaser video of the upcoming Mahindra Scorpio N. The new teaser video flaunts the tall riding position of the upcoming Scorpio N SUV.
The new 30-second teaser video of the upcoming Mahindra Scorpio N SUV also claims to have ‘Highest Command Seating’. Though the claim is a little bit murky, we believe it is the seating height of the upcoming SUV.
If true, the upcoming Mahindra Scorpio SUV will have the tallest driving position among the D-segment SUVs in the country.
Earlier, Mahindra had released a teaser of the upcoming Mahindra Scorpio N SUV and that teaser barely revealed the new Scorpio N ahead of its launch in India.
The latest teaser video also gives us a hint about the size of the upcoming Mahindra Scorpio N. Along with it, the new teaser video also shows the front and sides of the upcoming Mahindra Scorpio N SUV.
Design-wise, the upcoming new Mahindra Scorpio N SUV looks very premium and sophisticated with its twin-pod LED projector headlamps, LED fog lamps, C-shaped DRLs, and the new Mahindra logo.
On the other hand, Mahindra has also improved the presence of the SUV by giving it an aggressive-looking front bumper with faux skid plates finished in silver.
Coming to the sides, the new Mahindra Scorpio N also features a lot of chrome elements and the black cladding neatly complements the SUV’s stance. In addition to that, the new 2022 Mahindra Scorpio also sports very stylish yet premium looking diamond-cut alloy wheels.
Though the new Mahindra Scorpio N shares many parts with the Mahindra XUV700, the upcoming new SUV lacks the XUV700’s flush-type door handles. However, these pull-type door handles neatly complement the rugged appeal of the new Scorpio N.
Moving inside, we expect the interior of the upcoming new Mahindra Scorpio N to feature a significantly improved interior compared to the outgoing model and also receive a lot of cues from the Mahindra XUV700 and Mahindra Thar.
Also, the new Mahindra Scorpio N is expected to come packed to the brim with features such as a large touchscreen infotainment unit, Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, dual-zone climate control, memory seats, wireless charging pad, cooled glovebox, high-beam assist, 2nd and 3rd row AC vents, and much more
Apart from that, the upcoming new Mahindra Scorpio N is also likely to feature ADAS from the XUV700. This means the new Scorpio N will also get active safety features such as lane-keeping assist, active cruise control, auto emergency braking, traffic sign recognition, blind-spot assist and a few more.
On the other hand, the upcoming new Mahindra Scorpio N is also likely to feature top-notch passive safety features such as multiple airbags, ABS, EBS, ESP, TPMS, and much more.
Unlike the XUV700, we expect the new 2022 Mahindra Scorpio to feature a body-on-frame chassis and come powered by Mahindra’s famed 2.2-litre turbocharged diesel engine and 2.0-litre turbocharged petrol engine and both these powertrain units will be offered with both manual and automatic transmission options.
Mahindra is also likely to equip the upcoming Mahindra Scorpio with an advanced shift-on-fly four-wheel-drive system. However, this four-wheel-drive system is more likely to be available only on the top-end variants.
That being said, Mahindra is likely to price the upcoming new Mahindra Scorpio quite aggressively with a starting price close to the Rs 12 lakh mark.
