Mahindra is planning to bring a new range of electric SUVs based on a brand-new electric car platform
Mahindra dropped the teaser of the all-new electric SUVs last month. Named as the ‘Born Electric Vision’ range, the brand will bring three all-new concept SUVs later this year. The cabin is designed by Mahindra Advance Design Europe, which is headed by Pratap Bose.
What does the new teaser reveal?
The new teaser video for the upcoming Born Electric Vision shows that the vehicle will come with AdrenoX-like dual infotainment screens similar to the all-new XUV700. However, the layout is different. The teaser shows that there will be the use of a lot of ambient lighting inside the cabin.
All the cars will get lightbars and C-shaped LED DRLs
Mahindra may offer a minimalistic design with the born electric range. Features like the AC vents remain hidden in the dashboard inspired by the high-end luxury cars. There will be a lot of highlights from the XUV700 in the new electric cars including the rotary dial in the centre.
Even the rear gets similarly shaped lamps
Just like the XUV700, we can expect the new electric cars to come loaded with features. We can safely expect features like ADAS with the upcoming EVs.
What is Mahindra Born Electric Vision range?
Last month, Mahindra dropped the first teaser of the upcoming ‘Born Electric Vision’ range. The teaser showed three new electric SUV concept cars. While the exact details and car names are not out, the teasers indicate what these upcoming cars can be.
One of the cars in the shape of a couple is likely to be the Mahindra XUV900 while the mid-size electric SUV will be the electrified version of the XUV700. The smallest electric vehicle in the range will be the XUV400, which is based on the XUV300.
The new electric SUVs will also get massive panoramic roof
Mahindra plans to bring in as many as eight new electric vehicles to the Indian market by 2027. The new concept models will get C-shaped LED signature lamps at the front and the rear. The production model of these SUVs will arrive in the Indian market by 2025. What do you think about the cabin of the new Mahindra electric SUVs?
