The Jeep brand maintains a healthy fan base of avid enthusiasts that enjoy the practicality and capability of the Wrangler. Many of those drivers were looking for a vehicle with the same capable features but had more space. Enter the Gladiator, a machine that had all the features and space to match and was just as easy to work on trailside. We see how easy it is to replace the car battery on the new Gladiator.
Replaced with ease
The latest 4×4 machine to hit our trails is the monstrous Jeep Gladiator. The standard fitment Fox offroad shock absorbers and powerful 3.6l petrol engine can take the Gladiator places that few care to tackle. With all the available kit that the Gladiator possesses, it won’t go anywhere without a properly functioning and charged battery.
With all the space under the hood, replacing the main battery is an easy enough task to handle, and you won’t even need a lot of tools, here is how to do it
You will need:
- Replacement battery of correct amperage and size

- 13mm socket, extension, and driver
Let’s get it done
1. Open the bonnet
2. Locate the battery
3. Use the 10mm to remove the negative (-) terminal
4. Use the 10mm to remove the positive (+) terminal
5. Use the 13mm to remove the hold-down bracket
