This monsoon season, Renault is offering some exciting offers on its cars. According to Renault, new customers can avail benefits up to Rs 82,000 on select models.
At present, Renault retails just 3 models in India. These 3 models include Renault Kwid, Renault Kiger, and Renault Triber. Out of these 3 models, the Renault Kwid is the entry-level model.
Renault Kwid
The Renault Kwid is the entry-level model for the French automaker in the Indian automobile market, and the model offers an attractive SUV-like stance in a relatively compact footprint.
As for the offers, MY21 models of the Renault Kwid come with benefits up to Rs 35,000. In addition to this, there is also a special loyalty bonus up to Rs 37,000. Along with this, there is also an exchange benefit where the customer can avail benefits up to Rs 10,000 under r.e.li.v.e scrappage program.
On the other hand, the newer models get benefits up to Rs 30,000, along with special loyalty benefits up to Rs 37,000 and exchange benefits up to Rs 10,000.
Speaking about Renault Kwid, Renault offers two engine options with the Renault Kwid. The base engine option is a 0.8-litre engine with 53.26bhp of peak power and 72Nm of peak torque. The next engine option is a larger 1.0-litre engine with 67.06bhp of peak power and 91 Nm of peak torque.
Gearbox options on the Renault Kwid include a 5-speed manual transmission and a 5-speed AMT gearbox. Prices for the Renault Kwid starts from Rs 4.62 lakh (ex-showroom, India).
Renault Kiger
Unlike the Renault Kwid, the Renault Kiger is a sub-4m SUV and the prices for this model starts from Rs 5.99 lakh (ex-showroom, India).
In terms of offers, the Renault Kiger comes with a special loyalty benefit up to Rs 55,000 and some customers can avail corporate discount up to Rs 10,000. There is also an exchange benefit program that offers up to Rs 10,000 under the newly introduced r.e.li.v.e scrappage program.
Speaking about Renault Kiger, the SUV shares most of its mechanicals and electricals with the Nissan Magnite SUV.
Like the Nissan Magnite, the Renault Kiger also comes with two 1.0-litre engine options. The base 1.0-litre naturally-aspirated model produces 71.05bhp of peak power and 96Nm of peak torque.
On the other hand, the more potent 1.0-litre turbocharged variant pumps out 98.63bhp of peak power and 160Nm of peak torque. Also, the Renault Kiger comes with both automatic and manual gearbox options.
Renault Triber
Though the Renault Triber is a budget-friendly 7-seater MPV in the Indian automobile market, the French automaker has made sure that all 7 passengers will be safe in the MPV with a 4-Star safety rating for adult occupant protection.
