Is the Renault Clio R.S. a good car?
The Renault Clio R.S. is an iconic, performance, B-Segment hatch that has made waves for a long time and the last generation Clio R.S. showed a great revolution for the moniker. A fast-shifting dual-clutch gearbox and pokey engine are something to be reckoned with.

Reviewer’s opinion
“It’s that last addition that got us excited. The exhaust note, complete with crackles, pops and bangs (which naturally brought out the 5-year-old in us) got us so enthused that we just had to go and find a few tunnels to blast through. It’s a petrol-head thing and the concept may appear infantile… ok, it is, but we don’t care!”

Interior
What is the Renault Clio R.S. like inside?
The Renault Clio R.S. keeps things simple and limits distractions with a simple dash and centre console housing your infotainment system which also doubles as a sports diagnostics centre. You’ll find a thick-rimmed steering wheel with paddle shifters posted out to the side. Supportive R.S.-badged bucket seats are present to help hold you on that ‘scenic’ drive home.
Style
The Renault Clio R.S. takes the normal Clio style and dials it up subtly. In front, the lower air dam is wide but short in height, housing the checkered flag-style foglamps. A giveaway that this is a sports version is the R.S. badge neatly displayed just under the Renault diamond logo. On the side, the large wheels stand out. In the rear, some more sports hatchback giveaways would be the rear spoiler and the bumper diffuser nestling the dual exit exhaust with rectangular tips.
