The Jeep Renegade compact SUV is getting a new “Upland” special edition trim for the 2023 model year.
The Jeep Renegade Upland is based on the Latitude trim level, which now serves as the Renegade entry-point for 2023. The Upland treatment runs an MSRP of $595, giving a unique spin to the popular trim.
The Upland rides on 17-inch aluminum wheels wrapped in all-terrain tires, also wearing an “off-road-ready” front and rear fascia. Other external enhancements include a matte black hood decal, special badges, fog lamps, automatic headlamps and a windshield wiper deicer. The Upland can also be had in a returning color (back by popular demand, according to Jeep), Solar Yellow. This paint can be had on any 2023 Renegade for a $495 premium; the Upland can also be lacquered up in Alpine White, Colorado Red, Slate Blue, Sting Gray, and the ever-descriptive “black.”
The interior gets a few goodies, too, like topographic-themed bucket seats with bronze inserts, a Techno-leather steering wheel, ambient lighting, and more. Infotainment is displayed on an 8.4-inch touchscreen running Uconnect 4, paired up to a 7-inch driver’s cluster. Under the hood is a standard 1.3-liter turbocharged 4-banger, putting out 177 horsepower and 210 lb-ft of torque, paired up to a 9-speed automatic transmission. Jeep’s Active Drive full-time 4×4 system comes standard, as does the Selec-Terrain drive mode system with Auto, Snow, Sand and Mud.
A 2023 Jeep Renegade Upland starts at $32,185, including the $1,595 destination charge. If you want any color other than Alpine White, including Solar Yellow, you’ll need to pay an additional $495. Orders are open now.
