Tata Motors could offer the Punch EV with two battery options with a maximum range of over 300 km.
Tata Motors is expanding its electric car portfolio with the upcoming Punch EV. A prototype of the electric sub-4 meter SUV was recently spotted out on the street, revealing some interesting details.
The Punch EV looks similar to the ICE version. The chunky styling is evident despite the camouflage. The car has squared-off wheel arches and the rear door handles are positioned on the C-pillars. It is expected to get a blanked-off grille, just like on the Nexon EV and new design alloy wheels.
Interestingly, the Punch EV will get an updated interior. As you can see, the test car is equipped with a 2-spoke flat-bottom steering wheel. It could also get a digital instrument cluster, a 7.0-inch touchscreen infotainment system, a 360-degree camera and disc brakes on all four corners.
Reports suggest that Tata Motors could offer the Punch EV with two battery options with a maximum range of over 300 km. The car is likely to be priced below the Nexon EV and will compete with the Citroen eC3 in the Indian market.
