Powertrain details are being kept under wraps, but we know the PPE platform supports single and dual motor configurations, 350-kW fast charging, and a range of over 300 miles. With two electric motors, the Audi A6 e-tron concept produced a combined 469 horsepower and 590 lb-ft of torque and offered a range of over 434 miles, so we expect the final Q6 e-tronproduction model will have similar specifications. A more powerful RS variant is also expected to launch with around 600 horsepower and 613 lb-ft on tap.
The Audi Q6 e-tron is expected to arrive in 2022 and will be followed by a Sportback version in 2023. When it goes on sale, the Audi Q6 e-tron will take on the likes of the Mercedes EQE, BMW iX and Tesla Model X. It will be one of 20 all-electric models in Audi’s model lineup by 2025
