The Nexon EV is also expected to receive similar updates. A CNG version is also said to be on the cards.
According to a media report, the Tata Nexon facelift could be launched by August this year. It is also said that production of the updated model will commence by July.
The Nexon facelift will reportedly be built at Tata Motors’ Ranjangaon plant. The carmaker could be aiming to produce around 15,000 units per month.
The upcoming Nexon will receive design updates based on the Curvv concept. According to spy images, the crossover will get a slimmer front grille with sleek full-width LED light and a shaper-looking front bumper.
At the rear, the Nexon facelift is expected to get slim LED tail lights with an LED light bar stretching across the rear fascia. Spy images also suggest that the car could get sequential turn indicators.
Inside, the Nexon facelift could get a refreshed dashboard with a larger 10.25-inch touchscreen infotainment system and a new digital instrument cluster. Rumours suggest that the car could be offered with a larger sunroof, ventilated front seats, a 360-degree camera and ADAS.
According to reports, Tata could plonk its new 1.2-litre turbo-petrol engine in the Nexon facelift. This engine, which was unveiled at Auto Expo 2023, makes 122 BHP and 225 Nm. The 1.5-litre diesel engine is likely to be carried over as well.
The Nexon EV is also expected to receive similar updates. A CNG version is also said to be on the cards.
