The festival will be held on December 3 at the Fuji Speedway.
Nissan has announced that the 2023 Nismo Festival will take place on December 3 at the Fuji Speedway in Japan. The automaker holds this festival annually to show fans its appreciation for supporting the brand and its performance division, Nismo.
This year, the festival will feature Nismo's plans for the future, including its high-performance EV technologies. The Japanese automaker already said the future of Nismo is electric, which means the division should continue to operate in a world made up exclusively of electric cars. Nissan will talk about how it plans to join motorsport activities while keeping sustainability in mind.

The festival will also showcase Nismo's latest road-going cars. Visitors can expect to see Nismo-badged versions of the GT-R R35, and even the Nissan Z. Stateside fans who couldn't take a trip to the other side of the world can instead attend the 36th ZCON Festival in California for the alleged first public appearance of the 2024 Nissan Z Nismo on US soil.
Other activities at the 2023 Nismo Festival include interactions with drivers, a race car taxi ride, a circuit safari, and unique content for kids. Of note, online content will be available for fans who cannot physically visit the event.

“This year, we want the festival to be one where you can see, touch, and enjoy the attractions of the Nismo brand to your heart's content. All of us at NMC (Nissan Motor Company) – drivers, team directors, and team staff – always eagerly await this day when we get to interact with our fans,” Takao Katagiri, head of Nissan's Motorsports Business Unit Office and president of NMC.
While the details regarding the rumored Nismo EVs are yet to be known, the Renault-Nissan-Mitsubishi Alliance is slated to introduce more than 30 new EVs by 2030 collectively. Some upcoming EVs could wear a Nismo badge and continue the division's high-performance legacy.
