Here is a look at all the important car launches expected to take place in August 2023.
Tata Punch CNG
The Tata Punch CNG is expected to go on sale sometime this month, with production of the small SUV already underway.
The Punch CNG will be powered by a 1.2-litre 3-cylinder engine paired with a 5-speed manual gearbox. It puts out 76 BHP and 97 Nm in CNG mode. When running on petrol, the engine produces 84 BHP and 113 Nm. The Punch CNG will feature Tata’s dual-cylinder CNG technology with two smaller CNG tanks of 30 litres each. It allows the tanks to be fitted in the boot floor, which helps free up a lot of luggage space.
Toyota Rumion
The Toyota Rumion is essentially a rebadged Maruti Suzuki Ertiga. It will be positioned under the Innova Crysta in Toyota’s MPV line-up.
Powering the Rumion will be the familiar 1.5-litre, 4-cylinder petrol engine that makes 103 BHP and 138 Nm. It will be paired with either a 5-speed manual or a 6-speed automatic transmission.
