The special-edition Nissan Juke Kiiro is limited to 500 UK cars; 250 Micra Kiiro versions are available

The Nissan Micra supermini and Juke SUV are now available in a new Kiiro special edition trim. Nissan revealed the Juke Kiiro last month, and it has now confirmed that a Micra Kiiro will also join the lineup. Only 500 of the special edition Jukes will be built, along with just 250 examples of the Micra Kiiro.
The Nissan Micra Kiiro costs £18,375 before options if you choose the manual gearbox, or £19,725 if you spec the CVT automatic. The Juke Kiiro, meanwhile, costs £24,350; a dual-clutch automatic gearbox is a £1,500 option. That puts the Juke Kiiro slightly above the Tekna spec near the top of the range, while the Micra Kiiro sits above the current entry-level Acenta model.
‘Kiiro’ is the Japanese word for yellow, but the yellow touches are fairly subtle. On the outside, you’ll notice that the skirts and bumper finishers are in a bright shade, while the inside gets yellow double-line stitching.
The Nissan Juke Kiiro edition ushers in a new ‘Ceramic Grey’ paint colour for the bodywork, while there’s an exclusive pattern on the door mirror caps and on the edges of the roof that’s been designed to look like it’s flying away. Kiiro badges can be found inside and out, and the seat upholstery is an exclusive design. Finally, the new trim level has aluminium trim on the front bumper and sits on gloss black 19-inch alloy wheels (the biggest size available on the Juke).
While the Micra version is based on the Acenta trim, the Kiiro is fitted with Nissan’s Vision Pack. This adds rear parking sensors, sat nav, rear electric windows and automatic air conditioning, making it slightly better value over the Acenta. Other standard equipment includes black 17-inch alloy wheels and Echo Grey paint.
A Nissan spokesperson said the Juke Kiiro’s colour scheme gives the car an understated yet eye-catching look. “We wanted to create a special version that looks serious, with added presence and boldness, but that wasn’t sombre or boring.”
The Kiiro editions will be advertised alongside The Batman film, which is due to premiere on 4 March.
They share the same engines as other Micra and Juke models. Both use a turbocharged 1.0-litre petrol engine, which produces 91bhp in the Micra and 112bhp in the Juke.
