The Japanese company is not only expanding its product line with new models, but also reviewing its equipment for 2022. This time, it’s the Mazda3 lineup that takes center stage, with enhancements across the board, including new connection options.
The Mazda3 is one of the company’s most important vehicles, a Premium category compact that distinguishes itself with a sporty and stylish look. Now, with an eye toward 2022, the Japanese company has unveiled a bundle of new features targeted at improving the desirability of the vehicle until its half-life makeover arrives in early 2023.
Until then, a retrofit is a widely used option that is cost-effective.
Mazda is taking this step in their model lineup, and we’ve observed it in recent weeks, since some of the new features have already been included in other models in the lineup, such as the new CX-30. In additional detail, the Mazda3 and Mazda3 SportSedan have added a new color choice dubbed “Platinum Quartz,” which is a silver tone with undertones of champagne that complements the new taillight design.
Mazda3s with updates will arrive early next year in 2022.
Only the light part of the turn signals and side lights has been significantly altered, so the 2022 model will take a few moments to notice.
The special edition “Homura” is available in two body variants: five-door and four-door saloon. It is noted for giving a more athletic and sophisticated look to the models owing to the glossy black embellishments.
The external mirror caps and spokes of the 18-inch alloy wheels have a unique treatment, while the inside features black fabric upholstery with red contrasting stitching. The news reaches the remainder of the equipment, with the infotainment system receiving a speedier interface and a revamped “MyMazda” application. A feature that enables sophisticated connection services such as transmitting routes from the smartphone to the car or knowing the vehicle’s current location and condition.
The Lama Mazda3 2022 will hit the market in early 2022, with the same engine lineup as the present model. Customers may choose between a 2.0-liter “e-Skyactiv-G” and “e-Skyactiv-X” engine with 122 and 150 horsepower in the first and up to 186 horsepower in the second, both of which can have all-wheel drive. The prices will be publicized during December, which is also when the order books are expected to be opened.
