Mazda has unveiled its Iconic SP concept compact sports car, which is an electric vehicle(EV); however, the brand has revived its rotary engine technology as a means of charging the vehicle’s battery.
Powertrain: The car features a two-rotor rotary EV system where the small rotary motor charges the battery pack.
Sustainable fuel: The twin-rotor rotary engine, used for power generation, is powered by carbon-neutral fuel. This approach aims to reduce the environmental impact of the vehicle.
Viola Red colour: The exterior body colour of the car is called “Viola Red,” a concept colour inspired by Mazda’s corporate philosophy of “enriching life-in-motion for those we serve.”
