Painted to mimic light reflections in the sculpted bodywork.
The limited edition of the highly exclusive and potent French model has started being delivered to its customers. The Bugatti Chiron Super Sport remains one the fastest ever produced by the manufacturer and unfortunately all build slots have been reserved, if you were considering adding this to your garage.
Unlike its mass-produced Super Sport 300+ sibling, there have only been nine build slots allocated to the 440 km/h capable engineering marvel. Okay, we do joke about the Super Sport 300+, but 30 units is a fair amount more than this Chiron Super Sport which was introduced in June of 2021.

The price tag for one of these bespoke creations sits at €3.2 million which roughly translates to a trickle over R50 million depending on how the local economy is performing. While it may sound ludicrous to spend obscene amounts of money on a car, the manufacturer stated that there is “an extensive waiting list should any (build slots) open up.”
This price tag includes the service of the Sur Mesure customization program which the select few owners can make use of to create a truly unique aesthetic. The model shown here is finished in ‘Vagues de Lumière’ paintwork and is intended to mimic the way light reflects off of the Bugatti Chiron Super Sport’s bodywork as it moves through illuminated areas.

The outlay also gets the nine Bugatti Chiron Super Sport buyers a model that has had an exterior rework to the standard Chiron. This includes bodywork being stretched by 25 centimetres to aid in airflow at high speeds. The 8-litre quad-turbocharged W16 has also been tuned to offer a tad more grunt in comparison to the standard Chiron but obviously a little bit less than the 489 km/h Chiron Super Sport 300+.
The behemoth motor puts out 1,177 kW and 1,600 N.m in this application which enables it to achieve 200 km/h in 5.8 seconds and 300 km/h in 12.1 seconds – four seconds faster to 300 km/h than a Toyota Agya can manage to 100 km/h.
