Fresh take on electric Jeep Wrangler concept to star at annual Easter Jeep Safari in Utah
Jeep is preparing to pull the covers off another electrified version of the venerable Jeep Wrangler 4×4 off-roader.
The 2022 Jeep Wrangler Magneto 20 will be a star attraction at this month’s annual Easter Jeep Safari in the US, following closely in the wheel tracks of the electrified Wrangler Magneto that turned up at last year’s event, albeit without the ‘20’ moniker.

Based on a two-door Jeep Wrangler Rubicon, the Magneto 20 is expected to honour the 20th anniversary of the Rubicon model, potentially alongside a more traditional execution of the off-roader complete with a 392-cubic inch HEMI V8.
The Rubicon nameplate first emerged in 2003 on the side of the second-generation TJ-series Jeep Wrangler and quickly earned itself a famous reputation for off-road capability. The four-door Rubicon Unlimited joined the previous (JK) model line-up in 2007.

Jeep is saying very little about the electrified version at this point, but does mention the Magneto 20 pushes “the limits on legendary Jeep 4×4 capability and off-road development even further”.
Naturally, the electrified Magneto 20 is expected to join an army of other combustion-engined and electrified Jeep models at the 2022 Moab event.
The ongoing teaser campaign also includes a fully decked-out Jeep Gladiator ute and an off-road-ready electrified version of the new Jeep Grand Cherokee.
The annual Easter Jeep Safari formally kicks off on April 9 in Moab, Utah.
