The full-size SUV from the historic American automaker also comes with a sizable amount of technology which will help with off-road ability and on-road safety. Equipped with three 4×4 systems and five terrain modes, the Grand Cherokee L is brimmed to capacity with modern technology and mechanical components like a rear electronic limited slip-differential to ensure that it keeps on going for when the going gets tough. This is aided by a class-exclusive Quadra-Lift Air Suspension which features electronic adaptive damping and best-in-class ground clearance at 277 mm. Pentastar power for the Grand Cherokee L
Under the bonnet is the same 3,6-litre Pentastar V6 engine found in the recently launched Gladiator which is good for 210 kW and 344 N.m. To further improve efficiency and emissions, the motor has a built in fuel-saving engine start-stop (ESS) technology which is standard on the Pentastar V6.
The inside is a series of firsts for Jeep. While the roof and body panels on this model will stay put, the Grand Cherokee L will become the first model in Jeep’s lineup to feature a third row of seats. The interior was also named one of Wards 10 Best Interiors for 2021 with judges citing “A stunning mixture of rich colours and lavish materials.”

The Grand Cherokee L offers a 10,25-inch frameless digital gauge cluster for the driver as well as a segment-exclusive 10.25-inch front passenger screen. The Grand Cherokee L includes over 110 safety and security features which include: Full-Speed Collision Warning with Active Braking and Pedestrian/Cyclist Detection, Parallel and Perpendicular Park Assist with 360-degree surround view camera system and built-in washers on both front and rear camera lenses, a night vision camera, adaptive cruise control, active lane management, advanced brake assist, tyre-pressure monitoring and drowsy driver detection to name a few.
