JE Design gives the Cupra Leon Sportstourer an eight-part street race body kit, matching wheel-tire combinations plus lowering. The Swabians are also promising an exhaust system with flap control.
If the Golf Variant and Skoda Octavia look too profane, customers like to look in the direction of Cupra, more precisely to the athletic sports suit Cupra Leon ST. If that wasn’t expressive enough either, the Leingarten-based tuner JE Design gives the thoroughbred Spaniard a sporty Swabian touch if so desired. Sporty, because the eight-part body kit is supposed to provide a racing look. Swabian, as it is rather down-to-earth when it comes to scope, instead of scrambling for effects.
The design features in detail
At the front, JE Design mounts a two-part front spoiler, which takes up the lines of the Leon bumper and is intended to provide more downforce on the front axle. Optical panels on the front fenders are reminiscent of air outlets. However, they have neither a function nor do they look particularly spectacular. The tuner also places design panels on the left and right of the rear apron, which at least makes the sports tourer appear a bit wider from the rear. Overall, however, the look remains subtle – the additional 64 gram mirror caps made of exposed carbon and the roof edge spoiler do nothing to change that.
